Aitareya Upanishad 2.3

तत्स्त्रिया आत्मभूयं गच्छति यथा स्वमङ्गं तथा | तस्मादेनां न हिनस्ति | सा तस्यात्मानमत्र गतं भावयति ॥

tat striya atma-bhuyam gacchati yatha svam angam tatha | tasmad enam na hinasti | sa tasyatmanam atra gatam bhavayati ||

It becomes one with the woman, as if one of her own limbs. Therefore it does not hurt her. She nourishes this self of his that has come to her.

वह (बीज) स्त्री के अपने ही शरीर का अंग बन जाता है, जैसे उसका कोई स्वाङ्ग हो; इसीलिए वह उसे हानि नहीं पहुँचाता। वह (माता) अपने पास आए हुए उस आत्मा का पोषण करती है।
