Atharva Veda (Śaunaka) 1.108

यद्यर्चिर्यदि वासि शोचिः शकल्येषि यदि वा ते जनित्रम् । ह्रूडुर्नामासि हरितस्य देव स नः संविद्वान् परि वृङ्ग्धि तक्मन्

1.25.2 — yadyarchiryadi vasi shochih shakalyeshi yadi va te janitram | hrudurnamasi haritasya deva sa nah samvidvan pari vringdhi takman

If thou art flame (arcís) or if heat (çocís), or if thy birth-place seeks the shavings (?), hrū́ḍu by name art thou, O god of the yellow one; then do thou, O fever, complaisant, avoid us.

यदि तू अर्चि (ज्वाला) है या शोचि (दाह), यदि तेरा जन्मस्थान शकल (ईंधन-टुकड़ों) में है — ह्रूडु नाम है तेरा, हे पीतवर्ण के देव! तो हे तक्मन्! हमसे सहमत होकर दूर हो जा।
