Atharva Veda (Śaunaka) 1.116

विषूच्येतु कृन्तती पिनाकमिव बिभ्रती । विष्वक्पुनर्भुवा मनोऽसमृद्धा अघायवः

1.27.2 — vishuchyetu krintati pinakamiva bibhrati | vishvakpunarbhuva mano'samriddha aghayavah

Let the cutting one (kṛt) go asunder, she who bears as it were a club (pínăka); asunder [go] the mind of her that returns to life (punarbhú); unsuccessful [are] the malignant ones.

काटने वाली (कृन्तती) इधर-उधर चली जाए, जो पिनाक (गदा) जैसा धारण करती है। पुनर्भू (फिर जीवित होने वाली) का मन तितर-बितर हो जाए; असफल हों दुष्ट।
