Atharva Veda (Śaunaka) 1.131

ये देवा दिवि ष्ठ ये पृथिव्यां ये अन्तरिक्ष ओषधीषु पशुष्वप्स्वन्तः । ते कृणुत जरसमायुरस्मै शतमन्यान् परि वृणक्तु मृत्यून्

1.30.3 — ye deva divi shtha ye prithivyam ye antariksha oshadhishu pashushvapsvantah | te krinuta jarasamayurasmai shatamanyan pari vrinaktu mrityun

Ye, O gods, that are in the heaven, that are on earth, that are in the atmosphere, in the herbs, in the cattle, within the waters—do ye make old age the length of life for this man; let him avoid the hundred other deaths.

जो देव स्वर्ग में हैं, जो पृथिवी पर, जो अन्तरिक्ष में, ओषधियों में, पशुओं में, जलों के भीतर हैं — वे इसके लिए वृद्धावस्था को आयु बनाएँ; यह सौ अन्य मृत्युओं से बचे।
