Atharva Veda (Śaunaka) 1.135

अस्रामस्त्वा हविषा यजाम्यश्लोणस्त्वा घृतेन जुहोमि । य आशानामाशापालस्तुरीयो देवः स नः सुभूतमेह वक्षत्

1.31.3 — asramastva havisha yajamyashlonastva ghritena juhomi | ya aashanamashapalasturiyo devah sa nah subhutameha vakshat

Unlamed I sacrifice to thee with oblation; unmaimed I make oblation to thee with ghee; the god that is fourth region-guardian of the regions, he shall bring hither to us welfare (subhūtá).

अंगहीन नहीं, हवि से तुम्हारा यजन करता हूँ; अपंग नहीं, घृत से आहुति देता हूँ। जो चौथा दिक्पाल देव है, वह हमारे लिए यहाँ कल्याण लाए।
