Atharva Veda (Śaunaka) 1.139

यद्रोदसी रेजमाने भूमिश्च निरतक्षतम् । आर्द्रं तदद्य सर्वदा समुद्रस्येव श्रोत्याः

1.32.3 — yadrodasi rejamane bhumishcha niratakshatam | aardram tadadya sarvada samudrasyeva shrotyah

What the (two) quaking firmaments (ródasī)—and the earth—fashioned out, that at present is always wet, like the streams of the ocean.

जो दोनों काँपती रोदसी (द्यावा-पृथिवी) ने — और भूमि ने — गढ़ा, वह आज सदा आर्द्र है, समुद्र की धाराओं की भाँति।
