यदाबध्नन् दाक्षायणा हिरण्यं शतानीकाय सुमनस्यमानाः । तत्ते बध्नाम्यायुषे वर्चसे बलाय दीर्घायुत्वाय शतशारदाय

1.35.1 — yadabadhnan dakshayana hiranyam shatanikaya sumanasyamanah | tatte badhnamyayushe varchase balaya dirghayutvaya shatasharadaya

What gold the descendants of Dakṣa, well-willing, bound on for Çatānīka, that I bind for thee, in order to life (ā́yus), splendor, strength, to length of life for a hundred autumns.

दक्ष की सन्तानों ने जो स्वर्ण शतानीक के लिए प्रसन्नतापूर्वक बाँधा था — वही मैं तेरे लिए बाँधता हूँ — आयु, तेज, बल और दीर्घायु के लिए, सौ शरद् ऋतुओं के लिए।
