Atharva Veda (Śaunaka) 1.18

अम्बयो यन्त्यध्वभिर्जामयो अध्वरीयताम् । पृञ्चतीर्मधुना पयः

1.4.1 — ambayo yantyadhvabhirjamayo adhvariyatam | princhatirmadhuna payah

The mothers go on their ways, sisters of them that make sacrifice, mixing milk with honey.

माताएँ (जल-देवियाँ) मार्गों से चलती हैं, यज्ञ करने वालों की बहनें, दूध में मधु मिलाती हुईं।
