Atharva Veda (Śaunaka) 1.29

शं न आपो धन्वन्याः शमु सन्त्वनूप्याः । शं नः खनित्रिमा आपः शमु याः कुम्भ आभृताः । शिवा नः सन्तु वार्षिकीः

1.6.4 — sham na aapo dhanvanyah shamu santvanupyah | sham nah khanitrima aapah shamu yah kumbha aabhritah | shiva nah santu varshikih

Weal for us the waters of the plains, and weal be those of the marshes, weal for us the waters won by digging, and weal what are brought in a vessel; propitious to us be those of the rain.

मरुभूमि के जल हमारे लिए कल्याणकारी हों, और अनूप (जलाशय) के जल भी। खनन से प्राप्त जल हमारे लिए कल्याणकारी हों, और जो कुम्भ में लाए गए हैं वे भी। वर्षा के जल हमारे लिए शुभ हों।
