Atharva Veda (Śaunaka) 1.44

ऐषां यज्ञमुत वर्चो ददेऽहं रायस्पोषमुत चित्तान्यग्ने । सपत्ना अस्मदधरे भवन्तूत्तमं नाकमधि रोहयेमम्

1.9.4 — aisham yajnamuta varcho dade'ham rayasposhamuta chittanyagne | sapatna asmadadhare bhavantuttamam nakamadhi rohayemam

I take to myself their sacrifice and splendor (várcas), their abundance of wealth and their intents (cittá), O Agni; be his rivals inferior to him; to the highest firmament make this man ascend.

मैंने इनका यज्ञ और तेज ले लिया है, धन-समृद्धि और संकल्पों को भी, हे अग्नि! इसके प्रतिस्पर्धी इससे नीचे हों; इसे उच्चतम नाक पर चढ़ाओ।
