Atharva Veda (Śaunaka) 1.52

नेव मांसे न पीवसि नेव मज्जस्वाहतम् । अवैतु पृश्नि शेवलं शुने जराय्वत्तवेऽव जरायु पद्यताम्

1.11.4 — neva mamse na pivasi neva majjasvahatam | avaitu prishni shevalam shune jarayvattave'va jarayu padyatam

Not as it were stuck (ā́hata) in the flesh, not in the fat, not as it were in the marrows, let the spotted slimy (?) afterbirth come down, for the dog to eat; let the afterbirth descend.

न माँस में, न चर्बी में, न मज्जा में ही अटका हुआ हो। चितकबरी (पृश्नि) लसलसी जेर (अपरा) नीचे उतरे, कुत्ते के खाने के लिए; जेर नीचे गिरे।
