Atharva Veda (Śaunaka) 1.59

नमस्ते अस्तु विद्युते नमस्ते स्तनयित्नवे । नमस्ते अस्त्वश्मने येना दूडाशे अस्यसि

1.13.1 — namaste astu vidyute namaste stanayitnave | namaste astvashmane yena dudashe asyasi

Homage be to thy lightning, homage to thy thunder; homage be to thy bolt (áçman), with which thou hurlest at the impious one (dūḍáç).

तुम्हारी विद्युत् को नमस्कार, तुम्हारे गर्जन (स्तनयित्नु) को नमस्कार। तुम्हारे अश्म (वज्र-पत्थर) को नमस्कार, जिससे तुम दुष्टों पर प्रहार करते हो।
