Atharva Veda (Śaunaka) 1.71

येऽमावास्यां रात्रिमुदस्थुर्व्राजमत्त्रिणः । अग्निस्तुरीयो यातुहा सो अस्मभ्यमधि ब्रवत्

1.16.1 — ye'mavasyam ratrimudasthurvrajamattrinah | agnisturiyo yatuha so asmabhyamadhi bravat

What devourers, on the night of new moon, have arisen troop-wise (?)—the fourth Agni is the demon-slayer; he shall bless us.

जो अमावस्या की रात्रि को दल-बल लेकर उठ खड़े हुए भक्षक हैं — चौथा (अग्नि) यातु-संहारक है; वह हमें आशीर्वाद दे।
