Atharva Veda (Śaunaka) 1.73

इदं विष्कन्धं सहत इदं बाधते अत्त्रिणः । अनेन विश्वा ससहे या जातानि पिशाच्याः

1.16.3 — idam vishkandham sahata idam badhate attrinah | anena vishva sasahe ya jatani pishachyah

This overpowers the víṣkandha; this drives off (bādh) the devourers; with this I overpower all the races (jātá) that are the piçācī́'s.

यह विष्कन्ध (स्तम्भन-रोग) को परास्त करता है, यह भक्षकों को भगाता है। इससे मैंने पिशाची की सब सन्तानों को जीत लिया।
