Atharva Veda (Śaunaka) 1.95

अनु सूर्यमुदयतां हृद्द्योतो हरिमा च ते । गो रोहितस्य वर्णेन तेन त्वा परि दध्मसि

1.22.1 — anu suryamudayatam hriddyoto harima cha te | go rohitasya varnena tena tva pari dadhmasi

Let them (both) go up toward the sun, thy heart-burn (-dyota) and yellowness; with the color of the red bull, with that we enclose (pari-dhā) thee.

तेरी हृदय-ज्वाला और पीलापन सूर्य की ओर चले जाएँ। लाल बैल के वर्ण से हम तुझे आच्छादित करते हैं।
