Atharva Veda (Śaunaka) 1.97

या रोहिणीर्देवत्या गावो या उत रोहिणीः । रूपंरूपं वयोवयस्ताभिष्ट्वा परि दध्मसि

1.22.3 — ya rohinirdevatya gavo ya uta rohinih | rupamrupam vayovayastabhishtva pari dadhmasi

They that have the red one for divinity, and the kine that are red—form after form, vigor (váyas) after vigor, with them we enclose thee.

जो रोहिणी देवता वाली हैं, और जो गौएँ लाल हैं — रूप-रूप से, ओज-ओज से — उनसे हम तुझे आच्छादित करते हैं।
