Brahma Sutras 10.20

वृद्धिह्रासभाक्त्वमन्तर्भावात्तत्त्वमुभयविधं हि श्रुतेः ॥

vriddhi-hrasa-bhaktvam antarbhavat tattvam ubhaya-vidham hi shruteh

The increase and decrease are figurative, because both aspects are included in the reality, as scripture states.

वृद्धि और ह्रास का भागीपन गौण है, क्योंकि दोनों रूप तत्त्व में अन्तर्भूत हैं — श्रुति ऐसा ही कहती है।
