Brahma Sutras 10.38

अर्कवदुपमार्धगत्यनुवृत्तेश्च ॥

arkavad upama-ardha-gati-anuvrittesh cha

And as the comparison to the sun shows, there is continued existence of the half.

और सूर्य के समान, उपमा से अर्ध-गति की अनुवृत्ति (अनुसरण) होती है।
