Brahma Sutras 12.1

पुरुषार्थोऽतः शब्दादिति बादरायणः ॥

purusha-artho'tah shabdad iti badarayanah

Badarayana holds that the purpose of the human self is attained from this knowledge, because of the scriptural word.

बादरायण का मत है — पुरुषार्थ इसी (ब्रह्मविद्या) से सिद्ध होता है, क्योंकि श्रुति ऐसा कहती है।
