Brahma Sutras 12.47

बहिस्तूभयथापि स्मृतेराचाराच्च ॥

bahis tu ubhayatha api smriter achaarach cha

But those outside the stages of life, in both ways, because of the Smriti and practice.

किन्तु जो आश्रम-बाह्य हैं, वे भी दोनों रीतियों से (अधिकारी हैं) — स्मृति और आचार के कारण।
