Brahma Sutras 13.19

भोगेन त्वितरे क्षपयित्वाथ सम्पद्यते ॥

bhogena tv itare kshapayitva atha sampadyate

But the other karmas are exhausted through experience, and then one attains Brahman.

किन्तु अन्य (आरब्ध) कर्म भोग द्वारा क्षीण होकर तत्पश्चात् (साधक) ब्रह्म को सम्पन्न करता है।
