Verse 1
Through the path beginning with light, because that path is well-known from scripture.
Verse 2
After the wind comes the year, on account of the absence and presence of specific mentions.
Verse 3
After lightning comes Varuna, because of the connection.
Verse 4
The guides on the path are superhuman beings, because of the indicatory marks.
Verse 5
From the lightning onwards, the soul is led by a superhuman being, as scripture states.
