Brahma Sutras 2.31

सम्पत्तेरिति जैमिनिस्तथा हि दर्शयति ॥

sampatter iti jaiminis tatha hi darshayati

Jaimini holds it is on account of imaginary identity, for thus the scripture shows.

सम्पत्ति (कल्पित तादात्म्य) के कारण — जैमिनि [का मत है], क्योंकि [श्रुति] वैसे ही दर्शाती है ॥
