Brahma Sutras 2.8

सम्भोगप्राप्तिरिति चेन्न वैशेष्यात् ॥

sambhoga-praptir iti chen na vaisheshyat

If it be objected that Brahman would be subject to experience of pleasure and pain, we say no, because of the distinction.

यदि [आपत्ति हो कि ब्रह्म को] भोग [की प्राप्ति होगी] — तो नहीं, [क्योंकि ब्रह्म और जीव में] विशेषता (मूलभूत भेद) है ॥
