Brahma Sutras 3.15

गतिशब्दाभ्यां तथा हि दृष्टं लिङ्गं च ॥

gati-shabdabhyam tatha hi drishtam lingam cha

Because of the terms 'going' and 'word', as is seen, and because of the indicatory marks.

"गति" (प्रयाण-मार्ग) और "शब्द" [दोनों] से, [क्योंकि] ऐसा [अन्यत्र भी] देखा गया है, और चिह्न [भी] है ॥
