Brahma Sutras 3.18

इतरपरामर्शात्स इति चेन्नासम्भवात् ॥

itara-paramarshaat sa iti chen na asambhavat

If it be said that the individual self is meant because it is referred to, we say no, because that is not possible.

यदि [कहा जाए] "सः" (वह = जीव) की ओर परामर्श होने से [जीव है] — तो नहीं, क्योंकि [जीव का वैसा होना] असम्भव है ॥
