Brahma Sutras 3.41

आकाशोऽर्थान्तरत्वादिव्यपदेशात् ॥

akasho'rthantaratvadi-vyapadeshat

The akasha is Brahman, because it is designated as something different from name and form.

[यह] आकाश [ब्रह्म है] क्योंकि [उसे] नाम-रूप से भिन्न [अर्थ] आदि के रूप में वर्णित किया गया है ॥
