Brahma Sutras 4.22

प्रकृतिश्च प्रतिज्ञादृष्टान्तानुपरोधात् ॥

prakritish cha pratijna-drishtanta-anuparodhaat

And because the material cause is Brahman, since the promise and the illustration remain uncontradicted.

और [ब्रह्म ही] प्रकृति (मूल-कारण/उपादान) [है], क्योंकि [ऐसा मानने पर] प्रतिज्ञा और दृष्टान्त में विरोध नहीं होता ॥
