Brahma Sutras 5.1

स्मृत्यनवकाशदोषप्रसङ्ग इति चेन्नान्यस्मृत्यनवकाशदोषप्रसङ्गात् ॥

smrity-anavakasha-dosha-prasanga iti chen na anya-smrity-anavakasha-dosha-prasangat

If it be said that there arises the fault of leaving no room for the Sankhya Smriti, we say no, because that would equally leave no room for other Smritis.

यदि [यह आशंका हो कि वेदान्त-मत से] स्मृति [= सांख्य-स्मृति] को अनवकाश (स्थान न मिलने) का दोष उत्पन्न होता है — [तो उत्तर है] नहीं, क्योंकि [सांख्य-मत से ही] अन्य स्मृतियों को अनवकाश-दोष [उत्पन्न] होगा ॥
