Brahma Sutras 5.16
भावे चोपलब्धेः ॥
bhave cha upalabdheh
And because only when the cause exists is the effect perceived.
और क्योंकि [कारण के] विद्यमान [रहने पर ही] [कार्य की] उपलब्धि (प्रत्यक्ष-अनुभव) होती है ॥
Ancient wisdom, verse by verse.
