Brahma Sutras 7.20
न तु आत्मा भावयेत हि ॥
na tu atma bhavayet hi
But the self is not produced, for thus scripture declares.
परन्तु आत्मा [= जीव] का [सृष्टि-] भाव (= उत्पन्न होना) नहीं है — [श्रुति] यही स्पष्ट रूप से कहती है ॥
