Brahma Sutras 7.21

परात्तु तच्छ्रुतेः ॥

parat tu tach-shruteh

But the self's qualities come from the Supreme, as scripture states.

परन्तु [जीव के गुण] परब्रह्म से [आते] हैं — [श्रुति] ऐसा [ही] कहती है ॥
