Brahma Sutras 7.36

हस्तादयस्तु स्थिते ऽतो नैवम् ॥

hastadayas tu sthite'to naivam

But the hands and others remain, therefore it is not so.

परन्तु [कर्म-] हस्त आदि (= हाथ आदि कर्मेन्द्रियाँ) [शरीर में ही] स्थित [रहती] हैं, इसलिए [वे सात के साथ नहीं जातीं] ॥
