Brahma Sutras 7.37

आत्मनिषेवादिति चेन्नात्मानश्रुतेः ॥

atma-nishevad iti chen na atma-anashruteh

If it be said because of the declaration of the self's enjoyment, we say no, because the self is not mentioned.

यदि [कहो] "[उन सात के जाने का कारण] आत्मा का [उनको] निषेव (= उपयोग/अनुभव) है" — [तो] नहीं, क्योंकि आत्मा (= जीव) का [उन सात में] अश्रुत (= उल्लेख नहीं) है ॥
