Brahma Sutras 9.4

अग्न्यादिगतिश्रुतेरिति चेन्न भाक्तत्वात् ॥

agny-adi-gati-shruter iti chen na bhaktatvat

If it be said that fire and others also go, we say the statement is figurative.

यदि कहा जाए कि अग्नि आदि भी जाते हैं, तो ऐसा नहीं — वह कथन गौण (भाक्त) है।
