Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 1.31

एतं ह वाव प्रतिष्ठां वेद — प्रतिष्ठति समे प्रतिष्ठति दुर्गे — प्राणो हि वाव प्रतिष्ठा ॥

etam ha vav pratishthaam veda — pratitishthati same pratishthati durge — prano hi vav pratishtha ||

He who knows Prana as the firm basis stands firm on even ground and stands firm on rough ground. For Prana is indeed the firm basis.

जो इसे प्रतिष्ठा (दृढ़ आधार) जानता है, वह समतल पर भी स्थिर रहता है और दुर्गम पर भी। क्योंकि प्राण ही प्रतिष्ठा है।
