Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 1.32

सायुज्यं सलोकतां जयति — य एवमेतदायुषो आयुष्टमं वेद — प्राणो ह्यायुः ॥

sayujyam salokataam jayati — ya evam etad ayusho ayushtamam veda — prano hy ayuh ||

He who knows this wins union and residence in the same world as Prana. He who knows the most vital of the vital — for Prana is the vital of the vital.

वह सायुज्य और सालोकता जीतता है — जो इस प्रकार प्राण के परम आयुष को जानता है। क्योंकि प्राण ही आयु है।
