Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 2.23

तदेतन्मूर्तं यदन्यद्वायोश्चान्तरिक्षाच्च एतन्मर्त्यम् एतत्स्थितम् एतत्सत् | तस्यैतस्य मूर्तस्य एतस्य मर्त्यस्य एतस्य स्थितस्य एतस्य सत एष रसो य एष तपति | सतो ह्येष रसः ॥

tad etan murtam yad anyad vayosh chantarikshach cha etan martyam etat sthitam etat sat | tasyaitasya murtasya etasya martyasya etasya sthitasya etasya sata esha raso ya esha tapati | sato hyesha rasah ||

That which has form — everything other than air and space — is mortal, stationary, and actual (sat). The essence of that which has form, which is mortal, which is stationary, which is actual — is the sun that shines yonder, for it is the essence of the actual.

जो मूर्त है — वायु और अन्तरिक्ष को छोड़कर जो कुछ भी है — वह मर्त्य, स्थिर और सत् है। उस मूर्त, मर्त्य, स्थिर, सत् का रस — वह तपता हुआ सूर्य है। वह सत् का रस है।
