Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 2.45

इयं पृथिवी सर्वेषां भूतानां मधु | अस्यै पृथिव्यै सर्वाणि भूतानि मधु | यश्चायमस्यां पृथिव्यां तेजोमयोऽमृतमयः पुरुषः यश्चायमध्यात्ममायं शारीरस्तेजोमयोऽमृतमयः पुरुषः | अयमेव स यो अयमात्मा | इदममृतमिदं ब्रह्मेदं सर्वम् ॥

iyam prithivi sarvesham bhutanam madhu | asyai prithivyai sarvani bhutani madhu | yash chayam asyam prithivyam tejomayo'mritamayah purushah yash chayam adhyatmam ayam sharirah tejomayo'mritamayah purushah | ayam eva sa yo ayam atma | idam amritam idam brahmedam sarvam ||

This earth is the honey of all beings, and all beings are the honey of this earth. The luminous, immortal being who is in this earth, and the luminous, immortal being who is in the body — he is but this Self. This is the immortal, this is Brahman, this is all.

यह पृथिवी सर्वभूतों की मधु (मिठास, जीवन-रस) है और सर्वभूत इस पृथिवी के मधु हैं। जो यह पृथिवी में तेजोमय, अमृतमय पुरुष है और जो यह शरीर में तेजोमय, अमृतमय पुरुष है — वे दोनों वही आत्मा हैं, यह अमृत है, यह ब्रह्म है, यह सब-कुछ है।
