Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 3.29

योऽप्सु तिष्ठन्नद्भ्योऽन्तरो यमापो न विदुर्यस्यापः शरीरं योऽपोऽन्तरो यमयत्येष त आत्मान्तर्याम्यमृतः ॥

yo'psu tishthan adbhyo'ntaro yam apo na vidur yasyapah shariram yo'po'ntaro yamayaty esha ta atma antaryamy amritah ||

'He who dwells in the waters, yet is within the waters, whom the waters do not know, whose body the waters are, who controls the waters from within — he is your Self, the Inner Controller, the immortal.'

'जो जल में रहता है, जल के भीतर है, जिसे जल नहीं जानता, जिसका शरीर जल है, जो जल को भीतर से नियन्त्रित करता है — वही तेरा आत्मा, अन्तर्यामी, अमृत है।'
