Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 3.35

यो दिक्षु तिष्ठन्दिग्भ्योऽन्तरो यं दिशो न विदुर्यस्य दिशः शरीरं यो दिशोऽन्तरो यमयत्येष त आत्मान्तर्याम्यमृतः ॥

yo dikshu tishthan digbhyo'ntaro yam disho na vidur yasya dishah shariram yo disho'ntaro yamayaty esha ta atma antaryamy amritah ||

'He who dwells in the quarters of space, yet is within the quarters, whom the quarters do not know, whose body the quarters are, who controls the quarters from within — he is your Self, the Inner Controller, the immortal.'

'जो दिशाओं में रहता है, दिशाओं के भीतर है, जिन्हें दिशाएँ नहीं जानतीं, जिसका शरीर दिशाएँ हैं, जो दिशाओं को भीतर से नियन्त्रित करता है — वही तेरा आत्मा, अन्तर्यामी, अमृत है।'
