Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 4.49

तद्यथोर्णनाभिः तन्तुनोच्चरेत् यथाग्नेः क्षुद्रा विस्फुलिङ्गा व्युच्चरन्ति एवमेवास्मादात्मनः सर्वे प्राणाः सर्वे लोकाः सर्वे देवाः सर्वाणि भूतानि व्युच्चरन्ति तस्योपनिषत्सत्यस्य सत्यमिति प्राणा वै सत्यं तेषामेष सत्यम् ॥

tad yathornanabhih tantunochcharett yathaagneh kshudra visphulinga vyuchcharanti evam evaasmaad aatmanah sarve praanaah sarve lokaah sarve devaah sarvaani bhuutani vyuchcharanti tasyopanishat satyasya satyam iti praanaa vai satyam teshaam esha satyam

Just as a spider sends forth its thread, and just as tiny sparks fly forth from a fire, even so from this Self come forth all vital breaths, all worlds, all gods, and all beings. Its secret name is 'the Truth of truth.' The vital breaths are truth, and this Self is the truth of them.

जैसे ऊर्णनाभि (मकड़ी) धागे से ऊपर चढ़ती है, और जैसे अग्नि से सूक्ष्म-सूक्ष्म स्फुलिङ्ग निकलते हैं, वैसे ही इस आत्मा से सब प्राण, सब लोक, सब देव, सब प्राणी निकलते हैं। उसका रहस्य-नाम 'सत्य का सत्य' है। प्राण ही सत्य हैं, और यह उनका सत्य है।
