Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 6.42

एतद्ध स्म वै तद्विद्वानाह — सम्राट्-विराड्भ्यां गृह्णामीति; मन्थश्चैषः, अथर्वणस्य — य एवमेतं मन्थं वेद ॥

etaddha sma vai tadvidvaanaaha — samraat-viraabhyaam grihnaamiti; manthashcaishah, atharvanasya — ya evametam mantham veda

A knower of this says, 'I receive through the Emperor and the Self-resplendent.' This is the Mantha of Atharvan. One who knows this Mantha ceremony thus attains its full result.

ऐसा जानने वाला कहता है — ‘मैं सम्राट् और विराट् से ग्रहण करता हूँ।’ यह अथर्वण का मन्थ है। जो इस मन्थ को इस प्रकार जानता है, वह उसका पूर्ण फल पाता है।
