Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 6.48

हिरण्मयी अरणी यां निर्मन्थतो अश्विनौ; तं ते गर्भं हवामहे दशमे मासि सूतवे ॥

hiranmayii aranii yaam nirmanthato ashvinau; tam te garbham havaamahe dashame maasi suutave

'The golden fire-sticks which the Ashvins churn — that embryo we invoke for you, to be delivered in the tenth month.'

‘अश्विनी-कुमार जिन हिरण्मय अरणियों को मथते हैं — उसी गर्भ को हम तुम्हारे लिए आह्वान करते हैं, ताकि दसवें मास में उसका जन्म हो।’
