Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 6.51

अथ य इच्छेत् — न गर्भं दधीतेति, तस्या अर्थमुपस्थे निधाय, अपानेन प्राणं सन्ध्यायति — अपायतोऽगर्भो भवति; अगर्भो ह भवति ॥

atha ya ichchhet — na garbham dadhiiteti, tasyaa arthamupasthe nidhaaya, apaanena praanam sandhyaayati — apaayato'garbho bhavati; agarbho ha bhavati

If he desires that she should not conceive, having united with her, he should breathe in, then breathe out, saying, 'With power, with the vital force, I reclaim the seed from you.' Thus she does not conceive.

यदि कोई इच्छा करे कि वह गर्भ धारण न करे, तो उसके उपस्थ में अपना अंग रखकर अपान से प्राण को सन्धित करे — ‘शक्ति और प्राण से मैं तुझ से रेतस् को निकाल लेता हूँ।’ इस प्रकार वह गर्भ धारण नहीं करती।
