Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 6.56

अथो य इच्छेत् पुत्रो मे पण्डितो विगीतो ह समितिंगमः शुश्रूषितां वाचं भाषिता जायेतेति — स मांसौदनं पाचयित्वा सर्पिष्मन्तमश्नीयाताम्; ईश्वरौ जनयितवै — आर्षभेण वा वायसेण वा मांसेन ॥

atho ya ichchhet putro me panditam vigiito ha samitimgamah shushruushitaam vaacham bhaashitaa jaayeteti — sa maamsaudanam paachayitvaa sarpishsmantamashniiyaataam; iishvarau janayitavai — aarshabehna vaa vaayasena vaa maamsena

If one desires, 'May a learned son be born to me, one who is famous, an attendant of public assemblies, a speaker of delightful words' — the couple should eat rice cooked with meat and ghee. They will be able to produce such a son — with the meat of a young bull or of a mature bull.

यदि कोई इच्छा करे — ‘मेरा पुत्र पण्डित, यशस्वी, सभा-गामी, सुनी जाने वाली वाणी का भाषक हो’ — तो दम्पत्ति मांस-ओदन (पुलाव) पका कर घृत-सहित खाएँ; वे ऐसा पुत्र उत्पन्न करने में समर्थ होंगे — तरुण वृषभ के या परिपक्व वृषभ के मांस से।
