Chandogya Upanishad 1.33

येन च्छन्दसा स्तोष्यन्स्यात्तच्छन्द उपधावेद्येन स्तोमेन स्तोष्यमाणः स्यात्तꣳ स्तोममुपधावेत् ॥ १० ॥

1.3.10 — yena chchhandasa stoshyansyattachchhanda upadhavedyena stomena stoshyamanah syattam stomamupadhavet || 10 ||

On the metre in which he is going to praise; on the tune with which he is going to sing for himself;

जिस छन्द में स्तुति करनी है, उस छन्द का अनुध्यान करे; जिस स्तोम से स्तुति की जानी है, उस स्तोम का अनुध्यान करे।
