Chandogya Upanishad 1.74

तथामुष्मिꣳ ल्लोके लोक इति स य एतमेवं विद्वानुपास्ते परोवरीय एव हास्यास्मिꣳल्लोके जीवनं भवति तथामुष्मिꣳल्लोके लोक इति लोके लोक इति ॥ ४ ॥

1.9.4 — tathamushmim lloke loka iti sa ya etamevam vidvanupaste parovariya eva hasyasmimlloke jivanam bhavati tathamushmimlloke loka iti loke loka iti || 4 ||

'And thus also will be their state in the other world.' He who thus knows the udgîtha, and meditates on it thus, his life in this world will be greater than great, and also his state in the other world, yea, in the other world.

'और वैसे ही परलोक में लोक-प्राप्ति होगी।' जो ऐसा जानकर उपासना करता है, उसका इस लोक में जीवन उत्तरोत्तर श्रेष्ठ होता है, तथा परलोक में लोक-प्राप्ति भी वैसी ही होती है — हाँ, परलोक में।
