Chandogya Upanishad 3.13

तद्व्यक्षरत्तदादित्यमभितोऽश्रयत्तद्वा एतद्यदेतदादित्यस्य परं कृष्णꣳ रूपम् ॥ ३ ॥

3.4.3 — tadvyaksharattadadityamabhito'shrayattadva etadyadetadadityasya param krishnam rupam || 3 ||

That flowed forth, and went towards the sun. And that forms what we call the extreme dark (parah krishnam) light of the sun.

वह रस बह निकला और आदित्य के चारों ओर आश्रित हो गया; यही सूर्य का जो अत्यन्त कृष्ण (परम कृष्ण) रूप है, वह है।
