Chandogya Upanishad 3.14

अथ येऽस्योर्ध्वा रश्मयस्ता एवास्योर्ध्वा मधुनाड्यो गुह्या एवादेशा मधुकृतो ब्रह्मैव पुष्पं ता अमृता आपः ॥ १ ॥

3.5.1 — atha ye'syordhva rashmayasta evasyordhva madhunadyo guhya evadesha madhukrito brahmaiva pushpam ta amrita aapah || 1 ||

The upward rays of the sun are the honey-cells above. The secret doctrines are the bees, Brahman (the Om) is the flower, the water is the nectar.

अब जो इसकी ऊर्ध्व किरणें हैं, वे ही इसकी ऊर्ध्व मधुनाड़ियाँ हैं; गुह्य उपदेश ही उनकी मधुमक्खियाँ हैं, ब्रह्म (ओंकार) ही पुष्प है, और यज्ञ के जल अमृत रस हैं।
